What is Emergency Preparedness?
Emergency preparedness is the planning and preparation required to effectively deal with an emergency. It also includes individuals writing down an emergency plan that identifies services they require, and what resources they need to have on hand in case of an emergency. Emergency plans must be written and handed to family relative, care givers and other relevant parties.
